A Morning Haiku

I was listening to one of my favorite podcasts this week, Planet Money, and heard them reciting Haiku's about the economy. I thought it would be fun to throw out a challenge to all of you to come up with your own Haiku about the morning. It's a much more cherry subject.
If you don't have a blog to post to then just add yours to the comments.

The format is a short, three line poem all on one subject.

Here are mine:

Dogs shake, baby coos
Sunny and bright this morning, at 6am
It's Saturday! Go back to sleep

Thank for the Cherrios you put in my mouth
So wet and slimy
You eat it

E you are so cute! But I've rarely experienced a "cheery" morning, and never yet a "cherry" morning. However, I'm up for a Haiku challenge, so stay tuned...

The first two weren't cherry, but this one is.

I wake up to the smell of coffee
I programed it the night before
Yay me

A cranky mommy
nothings right in the morning
grateful they allow me

This one a tribute to how generous my family is with my perpetual morning crankiness. Norm downright laughs and the kids calmly accept.

I see Gwen's the only one who followed the traditional Japanese form of haiku: 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables.

Just saying....
